Friday's workout
only 83 today. Practically artic.
Pulldowns
75 x 15 95 x 15 115 x 15 135 x 15 155 x 10
Bench press flat 40 x 20 95 x15 135 x 5 2 sets 185 x 5 205 x 1 225 x 8 for me. Haven't done that many for a few years, so kind of a PR for me. 205 x 5 for Jason can't remember if we did anymore. It was still hot and I was a little tired to begin with from work.
Went to Spokan wa yesterday and back to help my son's girl friend pick up her son from her X. We had to take the new baby cause there was no one around to watch her. Easy trip going over (about 250 miles), coming back was harder as the baby was getting tired from being in the baby seat and he 5 years old can get to be a bit of a pain after a while. I did all the driving and just went to my Zen place so nothing would bother me. I was pretty tired when I got home. The temperature around here was around a hundred give or take a degree or two. I had the AC blowing on me all the way there and back to keep me cool and awake.
Oh well, enough of that, going to rest a bit today and bust my butt in the yard.
By the way Al, I think it is a great thing you are doing with those folks coaching them for the lifting meet. You're a great guy.

Mon workout Leg press 135 x 10 235 x 10 335 x 10 435 x 10 for 2 sets Arms Superset with press downs db curls 15 x 10 35 x 10 35 x 10 35 x 10 Rope press downs 80 x 15 100 x 15 100 x 15 100 x 15 80 degrees in the garage. We were both a bit tired from the weekend. Never got to do more than water the lawn as Jason wanted me to help him install an airconditioner. He built a angle iron contraption welded it all together to support it and had to cut some wood to go under it. You could put your car on this thing! I brought over my saws and other toys to do this and helped when he was cutting. He just wanted my company while he was working. It's nice to be wanted. Bruce

friday work out Friday’s workout: Squats 55 x 10 105 x 10 150 x 10 200 x 10
Arms Curls with EZ bar 25 X 10 55 x 10 80 x 10 3 sets
Press downs w/rope 60 x 15 80 x 15 100 x 15 100 x 15 100 x 15 Did the reps slowly 2-3 sec up and 3-4 down. Trying to get the most out of what would be considered a light weight. with the slow speed you can't use momentum, so it's all muscle work. Plus with getting older I am very concerned with keeping my joints in good shape and not punishing them. Got a really good pump!!
Work is getting much busier for me, and Jason has had a hard week with the heat, new baby, girl fiends 5 year old being around and not that well behaved so I kept the squats down a lot in weight. They are the ones that suck the energy out a person, as I am sure all who read this know well. we were both pretty tired by Friday.
that's enough yaking for this time.
