I just read an article which reported that a new study found that soy does not reduce testosterone...guess I can return the skirt with the matching blouse.. too bad I really loved the sequins around the collar.... I'm trying to increase my protein by eating fish 5 days a week( in addition to the soy of course)

One of Jerry Brainum's always excellent science reporting articles in Iron Man noted soy is rich in arginine, hence of benefit to us matured fellows for NO production and arterial health. That's soy isolate. Since Costco carries EAS' whey/soy isolate mix these days at 6 lbs for $35-, that's what I'm using these days - after years of eschewing soy due to the estrogen scare.

If neither of you grows breasts by the end of the year, I'll give it a try, too.

I tend to give a little credence to the thought that soy isn't a good food for a man, especially an aging man to ingest. Soy isolate isn't quite the same.
Can't get the idea out of my head that soy was originally considered "junk" by farmers and was fed to livestock.
I've used soy beverages for a couple of years now and have noticed some fat accumulation and a decrease in libido. The fat may be due to the cane syrup used as a sweetener in the soy beverage (Silk) but I can't really account for the decrease in libido.
I've replaced the soy beverage with a rice beverage...hopefully, I can report back some results in a few months.
(I have developed a sensitivity to dairy...hence the alternative beverages.)

I had been drinking Silk too and also eating soy protein based protein bars, but I've stopped. Dunno if there's any truth to the bad rap soy has gotten, but I'm going to stay away from it until I can make an informed decision.
If you have a decrease in libido, how come Michelle is always smiling, winking, and groping at you? Have you cut it down to a mere three times a day?
