Usual warm up.
Squats 55 x 10 105 x 10 150 x 10 200 x 10
Flat Bench Press 40 x 20 95 x 15 135 x 5 135 x 5 185 x 5 205 x 5 me 3 for Jason 205 x 2 for Jason 225 x 4 for me!! ;D
Pull downs 75 x 15 95 x 15 115 x 15 135 x 15
Concentration curls 30 x 6 x 4 sets
Did a little better on the bench tonight. ;D ;D

Well it's Friday again. Funny we get one each week. Warm up as usual
Squats: 55 x 10 105 x 10 150 x 10 200 x 10 230 x 10 Went up 10 from my venture above 200 lbs of late.
Bench press 40 x 20 95 x15 135 x 5 135 x 5 185 x 5 205 x 3 for jason 1 for me. I only did one cause I wanted more from 225 225 5 for me. I didn't want Jason to try it cause he gets some shoulder pain from benches. 205 x 2 for jason 185 x 10 for me and 5 for Jason. So much for an easy bench night. side lateral 10 x 15 15 x 15 for 3 sets.
Cable rows 60 x 10 80 x 10 100 x 10 120 x 10 2 sets
strait bar curls 65 x 10 for 3 sets
Pretty good workout tonight.
I will try to get my dead lift to 400 before the end of the year. btw

Ok, so here it is monday morining and I am sitting here with a 'sprained' knee that i got when I stumbled on a stair coming down from the upstairs with a case of proteing powder for the v diet. So the v diet is on hold till I can walk normally. Went to the emergency room and got x-rays and nothing is broken, but it sure hurts like he!!. I will see if I can do upper body tonight with a little help from Jason getting up and down. This kind of sucks, but it's just a bump in the road. Most old Bombers have some landing gear trouble at one time or another. Bruce

The Knee is getting better. I can walk around on it if I am careful. I look like Chester from "Gun Smoke" but who cares. Got an appointment with my Ortho next week.
For old Bombers landing gear problems can be a tough, but I will over come it.

Thanks for reminding me about the ice. I just put some in my diet coke. ;D Made it to work the last two days and found a way to get to the second floor where I work with out going up the stairs. I got a good parking spot near the entrance since the IAM mechanics are on strike. Bad for them good for me. I walked (very slowly) into the factory and went to use the freight elevator this morning. Crap it's out of order. Climb two flights of stairs and hope it's working when I leave. It was. It's harder going down the stairs.
Finally got back to working out except for legs, which are sore from walking in a strange way to protect my knee.
Jason did squats 55, 105, 150, 200 for sets of ten. I watched and counted reps. Next we did flat bench 40 x 20 95 x 15 135 x 5 for 2 sets. 185 x 5 185 x 5 for Jason 205 x 2 for me 225 x 5 for me 205 x 2 for Jason 225 x 2 for me. Thought I could do more but got out of the groove on the third rep. Next we did pull downs with a neutral grip 75 x 15 95 x15 115 x 15 for two sets. Called it quites for the night. I feel that the pain in my knee kind of hindered me from pushing as hard as I really wanted to on the bench press. It's been a real pain in the butt and kind of wears you down. It is getting better though.
That's it for tonight.

Yea, kind of tough setting up & getting the legs into the movement with sore knee. Glad it's getting better.
